From my point of view as being a commander in Company of Heroes Multiplayer for assumed 5000 hours. I think that the strategy was really just to empty out the outdated weaponary and send the lower class to war. This artillery from from NK is really just a supplement to grind more of the Russian lower class in the Ukraine Battlefield. This artillery will be there just to up the morale of already miserable people there, so they would get destroyed as fast as possible instead of a massive retreat. There are even mobile crematoriums driving around the battlefield on the Russian side, and Russian side also includes real criminals from jails, as a supplement to the lower class.

The only real casualties are the pilots of aircraft and the aircraft itself, but they are mostly captured by the ukrainians.
