It's perfect solution to go around google's antisocial behavior, such as not providing api for basic stuff like bookmarks

There should be some loophole to get Google bookmarks in an automated way
23:41
Without direct api
23:43
How I imagine things: you can do the brave browser way and import local bookmarks file into your browser
23:44
Or you can also include indirect bot into your browser which will prompt for login to google account just like in google chrome
23:45
And then bot takes care of downloading and parsing the bookmarks, adding to your browser.
23:46
The end result might be the same as original google chrome
23:46
And might be legal, since it's just a bot, a personal asistant for your data
23:47
Then I'll be thrown into jail for making such a browser that integrates such a bot (edited)

Or maybe no.

It's like chromium and chrome. Chromium is open source base, Chrome is corporate product. I'll take a look at codeberg, gitlab and the finally just decide to pirate and use clion until I make my own lightweight cross platform IDE for C, where you hover over the variable name and see what's inside without the need to press the debug button. Also with a block scope highlight and warnings of dependant external variables that could cause memory leaks. That's what I want at very least.
